WYHS Beginner Harp Fall 2023

Join veteran WJCC teacher and harpist, Mrs. Cynthia Campbell to learn about music and how to play the harp!  No previous music knowledge is needed. Harps are provided in the classroom and while supplies last, Harp I students are provided free harp rental*, so that they can practice at home. Have your child try it out, without a significant investment!  

Classes are held at Williamsburg Baptist Church.

Students 8 - 18 are welcome. 

Just $150 for all 10 classes!

Classes will be  Tuesdays at 5:30pm, starting in September, dates TBD.  

If we have enough enrollment, we plan to add a Wednesday class at 5:30pm with  Colleen Potter Thorburn,  faculty member at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond and orchestral musician, chamber musician, and soloist.

* Guardians must learn general maintenance and tuning of the harp before it is taken home. One free harp rental per family. We do have a limited number of harps to loan out and will provide those to first families to sign up.
